In the framework of the conference, Graduate School of Economics and Management is hosting an AACSB Business Accreditation Seminar. The seminar is held in English with a simultaneous translation to Russian.

If your school is pursuing AACSB Business Accreditation Seminar or you are new to the standards and process, this interactive seminar is vital for understanding the challenges schools often encounter regarding eligibility criteria, accreditation standards, and continuous improvement, to name a few.
You will learn the purpose of accreditation and move through each standard in depth, covering the four organizational areas of Strategic Management and Innovation; Participants; Learning and Teaching; and Academic and Professional Engagement.
Understanding what is important and expected at each stage of the accreditation process will save your school time, money, resources and frustration when developing a plan of action.
As with other AACSB events, this is an opportunity to develop a network of peers who can become a part of your school’s support system.

Timothy S. Mescon, AACSB International
Timothy S. Mescon is executive vice president and chief officer for Europe, the Middle East and Africa for AACSB International. He is president emeritus of Columbus State University (Georgia) where he served from 2008-2014. Previously, he served as dean and Dinos Eminent Scholar Chair for 18 years at the Michael J. Coles College of Business at Kennesaw State University in Georgia. Mescon gained extensive experience as an AACSB peer review team member, chair, and committee member for 25 years before joining AACSB. He is the author of more than 200 articles and case studies, and he has co-authored four books, his latest "Entrepreneurship: Venture Initiation, Management and Development" 2nd edition (Routledge/M.E. Sharpe). Mescon received his PhD from the Terry College at The University of Georgia, MBA from the Cox School at Southern Methodist University and BA from Tulane University.
Sergey Myasoedov, Institute of Business Studies (IBS-Moscow)
Sergey Myasoedov is Vice-Rector of the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA), the biggest Russian University with 180 thousand students and 68 campuses. Since 1996 - Dean of IBS-Moscow — the leading management school of Russia, since 2010 — President of RABE (Russian Association on Business Education), Deputy Chair of the National Independent agency for business and management programs assessment, Chair of Expert Council on National management educational reform of the Russian Government. He graduated (1977) and got PhD in Economics (1980) at the Moscow University of International Relations (MGIMO). He studied at Durham Business School, Great Britain (1991); Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania, USA (1992) and Harvard Business School, USA (1993). In 2000, he got his second PhD in Sociology at the Moscow State University. Sergey is a member of International Advisory Boards of: CEEMAN, since 2010, Slovenia; AACSB International (branch of Europe, Middle East, Africa), since 2015, Holland; ETS (GRE, TOEFL), since 2015, USA; Antwerp School of Management (Belgium). In September of 2017, Sergey was elected as a Chairman of the European Advisory Council (EAC) of AACSB International. He published 9 research and text-books and more than 150 articles, conference presentations and interviews in the field of cross-cultural management, leadership; business and management education in Russia and the world; economic reforms in Russia and emerging economies. He teaches cross-cultural management and leadership trainings at IBS RANEPA and several leading business schools of Russia (Master-classes). He has experience of teaching at the undergraduate, graduate and executive-retraining programs as a visiting professor at several foreign business schools and training centers.
